| Vanessa King Vanessa King is an NYC-based producer, screenwriter and industry professor who has worked with top-level entertainment talent for nearly two decades. Her award-winning screenplays have received recognition from industry bodies including AMPAS/Oscar®’s Nicholl Screenwriting Fellowship and Sony Worldwide Entertainment’s Emerging Filmmakers Program. She cofounded the New York Screenwriters Co-Op and is faculty at both Gotham Writers Workshop (NYC) and Staffordshire University (UK) where she teaches beginner to postgraduate-level screenwriting. From 2018 to 2020, Vanessa was named to Vanity Fair’s “Downtown 100”, recognizing New York’s top producers & networkers in the entertainment industry. She has both coordinated and judged dozens of film festivals during her career, is a four-time appointee and board member of The Diversity List and in 2019 was named an “Industry Thought Leader” by Forbes Magazine. Originally from Canada she lives in NYC with her Swiss Shepherd puppy, Lou and her cats, Laverne and Shirley. |

 | Walter Popailo Currently the Director of The Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center for the Town of Chester in Sugar Loaf, New York creating and organizing events happening at the SLPAC for the enjoyment of the community and surrounding communities. Walter was a co-owner/booker of Jokers Comedy Club in Chester, NY from 2011-2018. He would also like to help institute the Sugar Loaf Film Festival into one of the biggest film festivals in the country. |
